I am now almost two months in to my first seat of my training contact, which I am completing in our conveyancing department and am working alongside our consultant solicitor, Nick Kingsford.
Working within conveyancing is something that is very new to me as I mainly have experience working within family departments and although I studied conveyancing at University, it is very different when it is put into practice. However two months in I am thoroughly enjoying experiencing this area of law and the challenges that arise.
At the moment, I am shadowing Nick throughout both sale and purchase matters and I am lucky enough to be able to observe his work in other areas of conveyancing such as commercial leases and transfer of equity matters. I am currently being trained to deal with post completion formalities and I hope as my experience within this department develops, to be able to assist Nick more through the conveyancing procedure.
It is a pleasure to work alongside Nick Kingsford who has worked in conveyancing for many years and over the next coming months I hope to utilise his wealth of knowledge to assist me going forwards.
