Training & experience 

Emma has over tens years’ experience within the Domestic Abuse field as well as a background in supporting clients who have mental health or learning difficulties and find themselves involved in court proceedings. Emma has a passion for supporting vulnerable clients, she has a gentle approach, and her kindness reassures clients that their matters are in safe hands.

Specialisms

Emma is confident when advising clients in a broad range of family matters. As well as offering legal advice to separating couples, Emma specialises in complex child matters, domestic abuse matters and surrogacy arrangements. Emma is committed to finding creative, constructive solutions and works in a manner which is non-confrontational and constructive.

Mediation 

Emma’s mediation skills are reflected in her day-to-day practice, she is friendly and down to earth. Emma strongly believes that the mediation process can enable parties to reach agreements between themselves without the involvement of the Court. Emma suggests that mediation is a way to encourage positive communications between the parties, which can build the parties future working relationships, particularly when co-parenting.

Outside of work

In her free time, Emma spends time travelling. She loves to be in the great outdoors, and nothing makes her happier than scuba diving in warm waters, skiing down a beautiful mountain or finding a new hiking trail.
